How It Works

With Puro Perks, you have everyday access to these money-saving benefits, subject to the limits and details stated below:

  • Unlimited automatic 10% Back on every purchase from Cigars International
  • 5% Back on purchases from 1,500+ Marketplace and travel retailers, up to $1,000 per 12-month membership period
  • Unlimited Saver Shipping Rebates on purchases from Cigars International
  • Standard Shipping and Return Shipping rebates at Marketplace retailers, up to $500 each per 12-month membership period

Your membership is non-transferable. Your benefits are available only to you and your immediate family. “Immediate family" means you, your spouse or partner and your children living in your home who are permanent residents and at least 21 years old. There is a limit of one membership per household. In addition, membership benefits are only available to personal, non-commercial purchasers. Any order that is deemed a commercial (non-personal) use or high-volume/reseller order, in our sole discretion, will not be eligible for membership benefits. You must reside in the United States to be eligible for Puro Perks , excluding residents in Iowa.

With Puro Perks, you automatically receive 10% Back on all qualifying purchases from Cigars International .

How to receive 10% Back

You can shop online, over the phone, or by mail order and automatically earn 10% Back on every purchase from Cigars International . Simply shop at Cigars International as you normally would. Once your order ships, we’ll automatically add 10% of your purchase subtotal to your Savings. Your purchase subtotal is the amount of your final, qualifying purchase after any and all discounts or promo codes are applied. Your purchase subtotal does not include taxes, shipping charges, or any other fees added at checkout. Every month, we’ll e-mail you an E-Gift Card for the total approved amount in your Savings. If you shop at a Cigars International retail location, you can still earn 10% Back on your purchase. You'll need to sign into your Puro Perks account and on your main menu, click 'Rebates'. Select the correct rebate type and enter your purchase information. Submit your proof-of-purchase through the portal, or email to [email protected] If emailing, be sure to paste your claim number into the subject line of your email.

Limits & Details:

Only merchandise purchases from Cigars International are eligible for 10% Back. Gift card purchases, taxes, shipping charges, and other fees are not included in your 10% Back savings. Food or beverage purchases made at a retail location are not eligible for 10% back. Cigars International purchases made on third-party sites are not eligible for 10% Back. All purchases must be made directly from Cigars International to qualify for 10% Back.

5% Back at Marketplace Retailers

As a member, you can also earn 5% Back on your purchases from 1,500+ retailers in the Marketplace and save up to $1,000 per 12-month membership period by shopping at those retailers.

How to receive 5% Back through the Puro Perks portal

Shop online through the Puro Perks portal to earn 5% Back automatically. If you shop at Marketplace retailers outside the Puro Perks  portal, whether online, in-store, or by mail order, your 5% Back will not be automatic. However, you can still submit a rebate claim to earn 5% Back on those purchases.

Shopping through the Puro Perks Portal:

  1. Sign into your Puro Perks account.
  2. On your main menu, click “Shop”, then “Shop Marketplace.”
  3. Find a retailer in the Marketplace and click through our links to shop online.
  4. After you click “Shop Now”, the retailer’s website will open in a new window. Complete your purchase in the new window to earn 5% Back automatically once your order ships.

How to receive 5% Back outside of the Puro Perks  portal

You can earn 5% Back on your in-store, online (not through the Puro Perks  portal), phone, and mail order purchases, too. Simply shop at an eligible Marketplace retailer and submit a rebate claim to earn 5% Back. You can submit your rebate claim online from your Puro Perks  account or mail in your proof-of-purchase instead.

Submit your claim online:

  1. Sign into your Puro Perks account.
  2. On your main menu, click “Rebates”.
  3. Select the correct rebate type and enter your purchase information.
  4. Submit your proof-of-purchase through the portal, or email it to [email protected] If emailing, be sure to paste your claim number into the subject line of your email.

Submit your claim by mail:

  1. Mail your proof-of-purchase documentation to:

  2. Our Puro Perks Customer Service team will create your claim and add any approved earnings to your Savings.

Please note that all rebate claims must be submitted within 60 days of your purchase. Once we receive your mailed proof-of-purchase documentation, we’ll review your claim. If approved, we’ll add your rebate to your Savings. This may take up to 3 weeks from submission to show in your Savings. Any mailed proof-of-purchase documentation must be sent and postmarked by the end of the month to receive an E-Gift Card for those purchases the next month. Gift cards are issued on the 15th of every month. For more information, please see the “Savings” section below.

Limits & Details:

To qualify for 5% Back, you must be an active Puro Perks member at the time of your purchase. Only purchases made at eligible Marketplace retailers qualify for 5% Back. All claims must be submitted within 60 days of your purchase date. The 5% Back is valid on merchandise only. Marketplace retailers are subject to change without notice. You can view the current list of eligible retailers by visiting the Marketplace from your member portal. Simply click “Shop” on your main menu, then “Shop Marketplace” from the dropdown.

When your purchase ships, your earnings will appear on your Savings page within 5-7 days. Online Marketplace retailers labeled “Rebate Required” are not eligible for automatic 5% Back. You’ll need to submit a rebate claim to receive 5% Back on purchases from these retailers. One purchase per retailer per day is eligible for 5% Back. Purchases of gift cards and money orders, as well as purchases using a retailer’s bill-pay service, are not eligible for 5% Back. You can save up to $1,000 every 12-month membership period with 5% Back on Marketplace and Travel purchases combined. Additional restrictions may apply for each participating retailer. To view restrictions for a specific retailer, visit the online Marketplace and click to view that retailer’s page. Any orders returned or cancelled will not be eligible for 5% Back.

5% Back at Travel Retailers

As a Puro Perks member, you receive 5% Back on travel reservations when you book with an eligible merchant in the Marketplace. This 5% is based on the total cost of your reservation before taxes, fees, and other additional charges are included. 5% Back on travel reservations is paid out after your trip is complete and payment has been processed by the merchant you booked with. Then, your earnings will be applied to your Savings page and included in your next E-Gift Card.

To earn 5% Back on your travel reservations, click “Shop” and then “Shop Travel” from your Puro Perks portal and click any travel merchant listed. Then, click through the links to visit the merchant’s website and make your reservation in the new browser tab that opens.

For travel reservations made offline or outside the Puro Perks portal, simply submit a rebate claim and your proof-of-purchase documentation to earn 5% Back.

Limits & Details:

To qualify for 5% Back at Travel retailers, you must be an active Puro Perks member at the time of your booking and at the time we process your payment. Only purchases made at eligible Travel retailers qualify for 5% Back. Travel retailers are subject to change without notice. You can view the current list of eligible retailers by visiting the Travel page from your member portal. Simply click “Shop” on your main menu, then “Shop Travel” from the dropdown. You can save up to $1,000 every 12-month membership period with 5% Back on Marketplace and Travel purchases combined. Additional restrictions may apply for each participating retailer. To view restrictions for a specific retailer, visit the online Travel category and click to view that retailer’s page. Any bookings returned or cancelled will not be eligible for 5% Back.

Shipping and Return Shipping Rebates

You can claim unlimited Saver Shipping Rebates on purchases from Cigars International. You can also claim Standard Shipping and Return Shipping rebates at Marketplace retailers, up to $500 each per 12-month membership period. Please note that all rebate claims must be submitted within 60 days of your original purchase date.

How to submit a rebate claim

Submit your claim online:

  1. Sign into your Puro Perks account.
  2. On your main menu, click “Rebates”.
  3. Select your rebate type and enter your purchase information.
  4. Submit your proof-of-purchase through the portal, or email it to [email protected] If emailing, be sure to paste your claim number into the subject line of your email.

Submit your claim by mail:

  1. Mail your proof-of-purchase documentation to:

  2. Our Puro Perks Customer Service team will create your claim and add any approved earnings to your Savings.

 

Proof-of-Purchase:

All your rebate claims must be submitted with valid proof-of-purchase documentation. Your proof-of-purchase documentation must be unaltered and include the purchase date, purchase total, items purchased, and the shipping and handling charges you paid.

Examples of valid proof-of-purchase include:

  • An order confirmation page
  • An order confirmation email
  • A packing slip
  • A sales receipt

To claim a Return Shipping Rebate, you must submit two forms of documentation with your claim: proof of your original purchase and proof of your return shipping charge.

Savings

All your Savings from Puro Perks will appear on your Savings page, whether you shop at Cigars International or Marketplace & Travel retailers. To visit your Savings page, sign into your member portal online and click “Savings” on your main menu.

You can also check up on your Savings and the status of your claims by calling Customer Service at 888-645-4168.

An E-Gift Card will be e-mailed on the 15th of every month for all approved qualifying purchases made the previous month. All mailed claims must be sent and postmarked before the end of the month to receive an E-Gift Card for those claims the next month. For example, if you make a purchase and submit your claim between January 1-31, your E-Gift Card for that purchase will be issued on February 15th. If you make a purchase on February 1, your E-Gift Card will be issued on March 15th.

If you decide to cancel your membership, you’ll still have access to your benefits until the end of your monthly term. After you cancel, you’ll receive an E-Gift Card for the remaining approved balance stated in your Savings.
